Anton Piotrowski entered the show in 2012, and was joint winner for the first time in the show’s history with fellow contestant Keri Moss.
Anton Piotrowski is the only MasterChef: The Professionals contestant to have achieved a Michelin star. In 2014 The Treby Arms in Devon, where Piotrowski was head chef, was awarded a Michelin star. “I think I’m the only contestant in the whole of MasterChef to have ever achieved a Michelin star,” he says. “I’ve always felt that if you’re happy going behind the pass every day cooking, using great ingredients, then that’s the most important thing and accolades are a bonus.
Anton Piotrowski is about to open his first solo venture, Röski, in Liverpool. An intimate restaurant serving a five course and a seven course tasting menu in Liverpool. He hopes it will become a culinary destination. “As long as everyone who comes into the restaurant is absolutely blown away, that’s what matters.”
